TERMS & CONDITIONS

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Use of clothing according to the weather forecast;
  • If necessary use a waterproof jacket;
  • Depending on the activity chosen, footwear may be simple or more elegant. Ideally, we suggest wearing sailing shoes, sneakers or other non-slip shoes that do not leave marks on the deck;
  • Bring sunglasses with a safety strap.

CLOTHING:

  • Bring normal clothing, as if you were going to spend a day outdoors.
  • A hat or cap can sometimes be useful. However, it must be tight so that it does not fly away.

SECURITY:

  • You will be given a safety briefing for all passengers boarding;
  • Safety vests will be made available to all passengers;
  • Passengers are due to have a responsible attitude and so increasing safety on board;
  • All the vessels we use are licensed and inspected by the competent authorities to carry out the activity;
  • All Skippers are duly licensed and certified by WaterX, having the necessary experience to operate our vessels;
  • All vessels have on board first aid kits and life-saving equipment required by law;

WELLNESS AND HEALH:

  • To navigate the passenger must be in good health;
  • No previous experience is necessary;
  • Passengers prone to seasickness are advised to take a pill for motion sickness at least 1 hour before the event;
  • It is advised to use sunscreen in the sea even in the days of cloudy skys;

INSURANCE:

  • WaterX is a subscriber to all insurance policies required by law for maritime tourism activities.

NOTES:

  • WaterX’s crews are all experienced skippers and fluent English, It is not WaterX’s obligation of have guides on board, nor their skippers serve guides for groups.
  • WaterX undertakes to present the vessels in perfect condition, duly licensed and inspected for the exercise of the activity.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • As agreed between the parties, and all events with us must be 100% paid within 96 hours of the date thereof.

CANCELLATIONS:

  • If the payment conditions are not met, WaterX reserves the right to cancel the event, without the right to any refund from the client;
  • Whenever there is a need to cancel an event due to bad weather, WaterX guarantees its customers the right to a credit for the amount of the event paid for;
  • Events canceled by the client within 1 week of the confirmed date, WaterX retains 100% of the event value.
